Ron Edison - Founder, Chairman & CTO:

Mr. Ron Edison’s career has always involved the management of sensitive data. In the design of Total Mail Defense he has leverage 17 years of experience successfully designing and managing secure systems for the protection of databases and sensitive data traveling across LANs, WANs, and the Internet.

Mr. Edison began his career automating company payroll systems and doing database maintenance and programming for Golden State Best Auto Insurance. He went on to design and build secure systems for an international publishing firm, managing data across multiple environments from websites to legacy CGI archives.

The development team, lead by Mr. Edison, leverages cutting edge technology, extensive expertise in Internet, LAN, WAN and database security to create effective solutions to today's Internet problems. Part of the 'effective solutions' philosophy is a constant vision towards simple, elegant solutions for the end user. It must be easy to implement and easy to manage, be it for a major corporation or just an individual.

As Senior Internet System’s Administrator for a major multi-national corporation Mr. Ron Edison was the principal architect of mission critical networks and servers providing Internet services in multiple geographically diverse locations that supported high-profile websites and related systems requiring defense and hardening while supporting traffic volumes of over one million visitors per week.

Mr. Edison held top-level responsibility for security and uptime of Internet connected networks relied upon by users around the world. His work had a heavy emphasis on network security and intrusion/denial of service protection. He also designed and oversaw the implementation of network-wide spam protection and virus blocking/tagging systems.

Mr. Edison was the founder and CEO of The Edison Group, a successful technology consulting company specializing in the design and building of secure LANs and WANs, as well as mission-critical systems requiring monitoring and 24x7 response, firewalls, hardening applications and servers, protection from spam, virus and other email-borne threats, establishment of professional hardware solutions, racks and wiring, network infrastructure optimizing, network analysis, and troubleshooting.
